Have and Meyer pairs Italian plates with a list of more than 3,000 natural wines, and the vast selection is poured by the glass. Expect skin contact orange wines and vintages from historic winemakers, served at indoor tables, in a cozy outdoor space, or down in the private Library Wine Cellar on Havemeyer Street in Williamsburg.
The cellar is decorated with wine everywhere and feels like a trip to another era. It is built for group dinners and private events, and bookings there are not limited to a prix fixe menu, leaving the whole table free to order across the Italian menu.
Doors open Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 11 PM, Friday from 5 PM to half past eleven PM, and weekends from half past noon to 11 PM, with brunch served until half past four PM on Saturday and Sunday. The kitchen stays open late. Start with a glass pour at a candlelit table, then let the evening stretch into a full Italian meal.
