Plan a pizza and pasta night.

🍝 Rego Park Classics

Established in Rego Park in 1977, Avellino has the range for a full Italian dinner without losing its neighborhood pizzeria heart. The menu moves from classic pizzas to Italian entrees and sandwiches, with beer and wine for the table. Spaghetti arrives under a rich pasta sauce, fresh garlic bread brings the first warm bite, and fresh cannolis with a macchiato give the meal a sweet finish.

Portions run highly generous, and plenty of plates double as lunch the next day. Order a pizza for the table, add pasta or a sandwich, then box up the extras for tomorrow.

Monday through Thursday the kitchen runs from 11 AM to 9 PM, Friday and Saturday stay open until 10 PM, and Sunday runs from noon to half past nine PM. Online ordering covers pickup and delivery, handy when the same menu needs to stretch across a quick dinner, a shared spread at home, or a fridge stocked for later.
