Just out the back door sits the Waialua Coffee & Chocolate Mill, where the owners walk visitors out to see coffee and cacao trees and observe the milling process. Run by the Martin family since 1991, the shop surrounds its house-brand roasts and chocolate with a dense selection of Made in Hawaii goods—including papaya seed dressing, peanut butter, dried pineapple, toffees, jams, and macadamia nuts. Tasting extends well beyond hot coffee to include roasted cacao beans and counter samples for almost every local food sold, accompanied by natural shave ice and boba.
