Inwood Hill Park

Inwood Hill Park is Manhattan's last natural forest, a hilly, historic green space along the Hudson River. Its rugged hiking trails wind through old-growth trees and past Indian caves, offering dramatic views of the river, the Henry Hudson Bridge, and the New Jersey Palisades. The park feels like upstate New York, but with the city's soundtrack—the Henry Hudson Parkway hums overhead and Amtrak trains pass by.
