Inventive Lattes and Basque Cheesecake in a Leafy Nolita Cafe
Study or catch up with a friend in the downstairs room, a lavender latte or matcha cloud in hand.
🌿 A Downstairs Study Spot
Urban Backyard fits inventive drinks and desserts into a small Mulberry Street shop in Nolita. The drinks lead with a biscuit topped Tiramisu Latte, a Strawberry Matcha Cloud made with real fruit, and lavender lattes, while the sweets run to walnut cookies and a lavender Earl Grey Basque cheesecake.
Warm wood tones and a leafy feel that recalls a zen garden shape the space. The shop is quite small, and a downstairs area gives extra room for studying or meeting a friend over a second drink. The space also hosts workshops, pop ups, and private events.
The hours run half past seven AM to 6 PM on weekdays, then half past eight AM to 7 PM on Saturday and Sunday. That makes it an early stop before class or work during the week and a longer afternoon break on weekends at 180 Mulberry Street.
