Description

Acquired by the city in the late 19th century, the 51-acre park shelters a dense, second-growth evergreen canopy dominated by Douglas firs, bigleaf maples, and sword ferns. Miles of rustic running routes and winding asphalt paths cut through the undergrowth, keeping the secluded woodland feel intact right in the middle of the city.
