Each week, InspiredWordNYC turns the Brooklyn Music Kitchen stage over to 25 open-mic slots, with 7 minutes for spoken word and 8 for singers or musicians. The elevated stage comes with full sound, lighting, and an onstage piano, so performers get the feel of a proper show.
