Every Monday, InspiredWordNYC takes over Brooklyn Music Kitchen for an open mic welcoming music, poetry, and comedy. With just 25 slots—7 minutes for spoken word, 8 for musicians—the night moves quickly. Singers can make use of the piano available onstage, and those with backing tracks are asked to bring them.
