The collection pairs antiques and traditional artifacts with contemporary pieces, centered on direct engagement with makers. Works are sourced directly from artists whenever possible, or through cooperatives and organizations designed to return the maximum amount to the creators. Rotating exhibitions expand across regional traditions, presenting Nicaraguan "primitivista" paintings, works by Cuban self-taught artists, Indian folk paintings, and African and Oceanic sculpture.
