IMMA – Irish Museum of Modern Art

Set within the grand 1684 Royal Hospital Kilmainham, IMMA houses the National Collection of over 3,500 modern and contemporary works. Its 48-acre site includes formal gardens, and the complex sprawls across a main building and several gallery spaces, many clustered around the courtyard. Visitors often pair a visit with a walk from nearby Kilmainham Gaol, crossing through the hospital's gardens and cemeteries, or continue onward to the Guinness Storehouse.
