Prospect Park AllianceOperatorDescription

Designed as an unconventional alternative to typical parks, this space contains no swings, slides, or traditional play equipment. Instead, kids explore curious sculptures, including a statue of Peter and Willie that honors the children's book author Ezra Jack Keats. The layout features plenty of trees and benches for resting in the shade. Because the playground has a single exit guarded by a heavy, three-quarter closed gate, it is an easy place to keep track of children before or after visiting the neighboring Lincoln Road playground.
