In operation for over 1,000 years near Imamiya Shrine's east gate, the shop keeps its offering strictly focused: only aburi-mochi is served. The charcoal roasting gives the bite-sized skewers a gentle smoky aroma to complement their soft, chewy texture. Served alongside hot sencha tea, it delivers a traditional taste profile that has remained unchanged for centuries.
