Washington Heights Date Night
Two-Level Room Near the Bridge
Le Chéile sets a Washington Heights date night in an old-world pub a short walk from the George Washington Bridge. The two-story space offers ample seating, while the kitchen covers pub grub and New American entrees.
Happy hour brings house beers and five dollar wines, and Thursday through Sunday service runs until 2:00 AM. Larger parties should plan one payment. The venue does not split bills.

Ornament Above the Aisles
Gold leaf carvings, chandeliers, and patterned carpets lead into United Palace, a designated landmark at 4140 Broadway. Thomas W. Lamb designed the 1930 venue, originally one of Loew's Wonder Theatres. Its 3,000-seat auditorium carries updated sound and projection. Programming includes Latin music concerts, classical performances, and screenings accompanied by live orchestras. Listed hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Check the event listing for the performance schedule.

Shoreline Landmark Route Guide
Fort Washington Park follows the Hudson River from West 155th Street to Dyckman Street across 160 acres. Hudson River cliffs frame a waterfront route toward the Little Red Lighthouse beneath the George Washington Bridge. Its dual trail is shared by walkers, bikes, and stand-up scooters. Athletic fields, a playground, barbecue areas, and a dog park spread across the grounds. The park stays open daily from 6:00 AM until 1:00 AM the next day.
