Two restored 1900s factories in Wedgewood-Houston now humming with creative studios, dining, and coffee.
Description

The complex began around 1900 with two factories built side by side. Its brick and heavy timber building once held the American Syrup Company, producing syrups, jams, and Bagwell Preserves, while upstairs local farmers brought tobacco for processing and rail distribution. Right next door, the May Hosiery Mill manufactured socks and ladies' stockings.
Today, the site houses twenty assorted retail and office businesses focused on music, art, and entertainment, alongside two restaurants and a coffee house.
