Houghton's Pond Recreation Area

Set just south of Boston within the Blue Hills Reservation, the grounds feature accessible boardwalks, picnic areas, and an on-site visitor center. Away from the water, trails lead through rugged forest terrain up to scenic overlooks, keeping the park active year-round for fishing and longer walks.
