Description
The front bar is a long, narrow dive with a pool table, a few high tables, and walls covered in aged memorabilia. It opens onto a wider back room where live shows happen. Not for the fragile, the Horseshoe has been a masterclass in raw, uncompromised rock-and-roll grit since 1947. The sound in the back is powerful and raw, and the space is unpretentious. Note that access is limited by stairs, and amenities like coat check and washrooms are downstairs.
