Founded in 1999 by Craig MacDonald out of an affinity for traditional Irish pub culture, Hooleys anchors Rancho San Diego with a menu that goes well past the basics. The kitchen turns out shepherd's pie and prime rib sandwiches alongside shrimp and chips, running regular daily specials and happy hours before closing things out with thick slices of mud pie.
