Homan Square Park

Inside the community complex, a gymnasium hosts regular basketball and volleyball alongside a kitchen and meeting spaces running activities for seniors and kids. Outside, the grounds feature a playground and a scenic patio popular for wedding receptions.

Organized community programming runs year-round, spanning youth dance classes and after-school sessions to a six-week summer day camp. The park also serves as a focal point for neighborhood gatherings, including the annual UMOJA Black History Month Celebration and Chicago Park District Night Out in the Parks events.
