Description
The 1.70-acre park took shape after the West Portland Park neighborhood advocated to convert the former holly property, working with Walker Macy, the Portland Parks Foundation, and city planners to open the grounds in September 2007. Its 2,800-square-foot skatespot offers a bowl design with extensions and a curved spine, complemented by an accessible play area and a designated Basic Earthquake Emergency Communication Node.
