Hole-in-the-Wall Bites in the Cosmopolitan, Then Barbecue at the LINQ
A three-hour guided walking lunch on the Strip, with Las Vegas history and restaurant tips from a local guide between stops.
Taste Buzz Food Tours leads this walk from the Cosmopolitan to the LINQ Promenade. The listing promises small plates from smaller, local-favorite restaurants along the way, naming Mexican street food, pizza and barbecue among them. The tastings add up to a full meal, and the booking is sold as lunch.
"The Strip Food Tour starts with a delicious wrap, ends with a BBQ sit-down meal (you really need to save some room for this one!)," a traveler who signed up alone wrote in September 2026.

The booking covers the tastings, all fees and taxes, the restaurant staff's gratuities and a digital souvenir photo. Alcohol, bottled water, hotel transfers and the guide's tip are not included. The listing puts a standard tip for the guide at USD 10 to 20 per person, and cocktail packages are sold separately: the listing says to ask the operator.

The listing gives the Cosmopolitan the first hour and describes the resort as packed with places to eat, from high-end restaurants to hole-in-the-wall secret spots. Reviewers in 2025 and 2026 name two of them: Secret Pizza, tucked out of sight inside the resort, and a bar hidden behind a barbershop. One traveler staying at the Cosmopolitan wrote in April 2026 that the stops made it easier to find food for the rest of the trip.
Two travelers in July 2025 describe the same run of food: pizza, Korean dishes and hot dogs, then a barbecue finish. Reviewers in October 2025 and February 2026 each count four food stops, and the February review adds a snack stop and a drink stop.
Grand Bazaar Hot Dogs, Then a Garden of Flamingos

From the Cosmopolitan the group walks the Strip for about half an hour, then spends another half hour at the Grand Bazaar Shops, an open-air market of shops and places to eat. Reviewers in 2025 and 2026 name Dirt Dog there for the hot dogs, and several 2026 reviews mention a detour into a karaoke bar. Fifteen minutes in the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat follow, gardens with flamingos and other wildlife, before the last 45 minutes on the LINQ Promenade, where reviewers in 2026 sat down for barbecue.
Reviewers in July and August 2026 say the guides route the walk through air-conditioned hotel interiors where they can. With the temperature "well over 100 degrees," one July 2026 traveler wrote, "you never really felt too hot as you were in and out of air conditioning the whole time."
Come Hungry, and Flag Allergies When You Book
The menu is set and paid in advance: allergies and dietary restrictions have to be given when you book, and dishes cannot be swapped on the day. The listing adds that substitutions are not guaranteed and that not every allergy or restriction can be accommodated. Reviewers in 2025 and 2026 report vegetarian, alcohol-free and gluten-free requests handled.
Portions run large. "Eat half of what they give you at each stop and get to go containers for the rest," one traveler advised in September 2025. Bring your own water bottle. The listing says water is not available at every stop, and two reviewers in 2025 wished for bottled water along the way.
Walking, Weather and the 24-Hour Cutoff
The walk covers about 1.5 miles at a casual pace. The listing does not recommend the tour for anyone who cannot walk one to two miles, or for people sensitive to extreme summer heat or winter cold, and the tour runs in rain, wind, heat and cold. Wear sneakers or comfortable walking shoes; the dress code is casual restaurant attire. Some vendors serve street food, and there may not be seating at every stop.
There is no charge for infants in strollers, and the listing asks that they be noted at checkout. Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund; inside 24 hours nothing is refunded. The listing also lets the operator cancel a departure that does not get enough travelers.
📍 Meet the guide at the Cosmopolitan, 3708 Las Vegas Boulevard South, at the east entrance on Las Vegas Boulevard, the one closest to the Starbucks. The guide carries a pink Taste Buzz Food Tours sign, and check-in starts 10 minutes before departure. Guests more than 30 minutes late can lose the reservation without a refund or exchange. Every guest signs a waiver. The tour ends on the LINQ Promenade, 3535 Las Vegas Boulevard South, between the Flamingo entrance and the High Roller; drivers who parked at the Cosmopolitan, where parking is paid, face about a 15-minute walk back.
As of October 16, 2026, the listing's calendar sells a single 11:30 AM departure, with most Sundays, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day unavailable. One traveler in September 2025 suggested booking it early in a trip, and others write that they went back to stops, or to places the guide mentioned, later in their stay.
