Description
As the first major open space in the transformation of the 500-acre Hunters Point Shipyard in Bayview, the park organizes the landscape to focus attention outward. Its layout choreographs sightlines through rotating orientations and sculptural seating, balancing bold geometry with an understated presence. Significant grading was required to nest the lawn into the hillside, yet the entire grounds achieve universal accessibility without a single ramp, ensuring technical infrastructure never interrupts the flow of the space.
