Description
Highwood Park spans eight acres in a quiet pocket of La Mesa. Alongside tennis and basketball, sports facilities include four pickleball courts arranged end to end with divider fencing, updated surfaces, and fresh nets. The grounds serve as the official starting point for the advanced 3.5-mile 'Challenge' route of La Mesa's Urban Walking Trails, while a mostly gated playground area sits beneath shade trees beside spread-out picnic tables and BBQ grills. The site also houses 'The Club' Teen Center, operated by the Boys & Girls Clubs of East County.
