Hermitage Golf Course
4.5 (384)attraction
Two championship courses on the Cumberland River, bordered by natural wetlands and a resident flock of Scottish sheep.
Description

Operating since 1986, the 467-acre property divides play between the President’s Reserve and the General’s Retreat. The more than 40 Scottish Blackfaced sheep that wander both layouts were brought here in 2012 as a nod to the game's Scottish origins. For extended visits, the facility pairs its fairways with on-site cottages and lodges, alongside a dedicated teaching center, an informal grill, and event spaces for weddings and meetings.
