Andrew Jackson’s estate arboretum features 200-year-old cedars, champion hollies, and diverse oak and hickory species.
Description

Across the 1,120-acre property, much of the canopy reflects a major replanting effort after a 1998 tornado. Certified as a Level III Arboretum by the Tennessee Urban Forestry Council, the grounds encompass more than 100 trees. Six of the historic cedars line the carriage drive, joined by two Davidson County Champion American hollies and five hickory species honoring Jackson's "Old Hickory" nickname.
