Description

Dedicated in 1978 by New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner and his sisters to honor their father—an MIT national champion hurdler—the facility underwent a full renovation in 2016. Today it serves as the home arena for MIT's football, men's lacrosse, and soccer teams, anchored by an illuminated FieldTurf pitch and a Beynon BSS 2000 running surface. The grandstand accommodates nearly 1,000 spectators with ADA access, supported by a tech-equipped press box set up for live streaming.
