Hearst Tower

The 46-story skyscraper rises nearly 600 feet in Midtown, using an innovative glass and diagrid exterior that stands out among North American high-rises. Designed by Norman Foster and opened in 2006, the tower is built directly atop the six-story International Magazine Building, a landmark stone base commissioned by William Randolph Hearst in 1928.
