Description

Rising directly from the sand, this geological landmark serves as a protected marine garden that functions as a bustling nursery for seabird colonies. You can observe the ecosystem's depth up close during low tide, when the base of the formation reveals diverse tidepool organisms. As a dedicated wildlife sanctuary, the site hosts nesting tufted puffins and various other species, making it a place where the barrier between the beach walk and an active habitat is largely defined by the lunar cycle.
