Hawaii Zenyo Jujutsu Kai

Active since 1994, the school draws on a lineage established in 1924 to teach a wide curriculum beyond standard mat work. Training spans striking techniques (Atemi) and practical courses tailored for police, security guards, and hospital safe-patient handling. It also explores niche disciplines such as Mizu Jitsu (underwater jujitsu) and classic and modern weapons. Other sessions integrate Hawaiian martial arts with hula, choreography and literature reviews, and traditional strategy games like Go and Konane.
