Description
The institute offers 200-hour teacher trainings and continuing education structured around self-exploration as well as classroom application. Instruction is guided by yoga's ancestral traditions, the 'āina (land), and kānaka 'ōiwi (indigenous people) of Hawai'i. Outreach extends into the civic sphere through annual cohorts for incarcerated women at the Women's Correctional Community Center.
