Hartwell Town Forest

A network of flat walking and biking trails cuts beneath an evergreen canopy, with trail markers pointing toward gardens and a picnic area a short distance from the end of the Minuteman bike path. The terrain is gentle enough for kids, while damp, boggy sections harbor wildflowers and fungi alongside thick swarms of mosquitoes.
