🎃 The Halloween Giveaway

🪄 What a Costume Earns

Harry Potter Shop New York is marking Halloween with a small reward for anyone who walks in dressed for it. From Thursday, October 29 through Saturday, October 31, costumed guests receive a free pumpkin-shaped cookie, usually one per person and only while supplies last. No ticket is needed. Halloween itself lands on the Saturday, the last of the three days.

🍺 Butterbeer and Wands

Inside 935 Broadway, a huge model of Fawkes the phoenix gazes down from the ceiling. The Wand Shop holds more than 50 wands, including a Golden Snitch wand sold only at this store. At the Butterbeer Bar, Butterbeer comes in a souvenir tankard, as ice cream, or bottled to take home.

🚇 Timing and Arrival

The cookie handout runs from 10 AM to 7:30 PM on each of the three days. Store hours are separate: the shop stays open until 8 PM on Thursday and 9 PM on Friday and Saturday. No booking is needed for a regular visit, though on busy days the shop may run a virtual queue that guests join by scanning a QR code at the entrance. Cookies are limited, so arriving early in the day is the safer plan. The 23 St station on the R and W lines sits about a block north on Broadway.
