Harpeth River State Park - Highway 100 Canoe Access
4.5 (68)park
A compact roadside launch offering paddlers a straightforward entry to float or wade along the Harpeth River.
Description

Sitting just off Highway 100 near Nashville, this sliver of state parkland provides bare-bones river access, with no hiking trails and minimal amenities beyond three picnic tables and limited parking. Visitor impressions of the water vary: some describe a scenic spot where it is fun to walk in the river, while others encounter a craggy, ill-kept stream. Boating access closes whenever river levels reach five feet and above, when conditions are considered dangerous.
