Visitors spread out on the well-kept grass, often with blankets, to take in panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge. Evenings draw crowds for sunset watching and outdoor movie screenings, though the space stays quiet enough for a rest after crossing the bridge. Note that personal chairs aren't allowed on the main lawn.
