After emigrating from Vietnam following the Fall of Saigon, founders Mai and Henry Huynh launched the concept on Newport Beach’s Pacific Coast Highway, combining Mai’s work as a manicurist with Henry’s background in aerospace. That original shop grew into a network of over fifty salons across Southern California, operating on a philosophy of an upscale environment with reasonable prices while allowing fully licensed artists to operate as independent businesses.
