Hap Magee Ranch Park
park
Once a longhorn ranch, this 17-acre park pairs walking trails and dog runs with a motion-activated water play tunnel.
Description

Before its cattle era, the grounds served as Camp Swain, a summer camp for San Francisco orphans, remembered today at a drinking fountain set with a plaque and a brick rendering of children playing. A barn façade at the entrance commemorates the site's ranching years. Across the grounds, picnic areas sit alongside separate play spaces for younger and older children, while the dog park provides divided sections for large and small dogs.
