Hank DeVincent Field
3.7 (20)attraction
La Salle’s synthetic-turf home field hosts Explorers baseball and field hockey in an intimate 300-seat campus setting.
Description

Dedicated in 1978, the venue honors Henry "Hank" DeVincent, a 1956 graduate and All-American outfielder whose number eight was retired by the baseball program. The playing surface uses a Sprinturf DFE Extreme synthetic turf system with sand and rubber infill, built for durability and player safety. Watching a game here comes with basic amenities and a rugged layout: grandstand seating sits closer to the first-base dugout, foul ground runs wide down first base but tightens along the third-base line, and bullpens are wedged directly onto the field in the far corners.
