🥟 Beyond the Noodle Bowl

Handmade noodles and rich bone broth are the starting point at Guk Su Jip, a casual Korean restaurant on Northern Boulevard in Queens. Stone pot bibimbap shares the menu with handmade dumplings, giving you a choice beyond a bowl of soup. The cooking stretches from those comforting staples to budae jjigae with a rich, spicy broth.

Opened in 2024 between Flushing and Bayside, the restaurant runs a self service format with clear signage and a banchan station. Your meal comes with a tip free policy, keeping the setup straightforward from ordering through the end of the meal. The space is clean and organized, with an approach built around ease.

There is crunch on the menu, too, with crispy seafood pancakes and tender pork cutlets alongside tofu made without MSG. You can keep your order focused on noodles or explore the wider Korean menu, with several distinct dishes to choose from. It opens daily from 11 AM to 9 PM.
