Description
Han Chiang opened Han Dynasty on Mother’s Day in 2007 alongside his mother, Lung Lung, to spotlight the cuisine of his father’s native Sichuan province. Even after growing from an initial strip mall outside Philadelphia into outposts across the region and New York City, specific domestic touches remain central: Lung Lung grows Chinese vegetables in her garden for the kitchens, while Han’s father, Tao Pin, is a master calligrapher whose art hangs in every location.
