Description

Upstream of central London on the River Thames, this historic royal palace was built for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey in the early 16th century before passing to King Henry VIII. The estate is split into two contrasting architectural styles: the domestic Tudor palace and the baroque design created by Sir Christopher Wren for William III and Mary II. Guests can navigate the famous hedge maze and wander through the great hall, the Chapel Royal, and extensive parkland.
