Halloween Sketch Night Ends With a Surprise Model
Draw costumed volunteers through two rounds and a surprise final pose, with a social break and every skill level welcome.
🎃 The Halloween Session
✏️ How the Night Runs
Brooklyn Hearts Club brings its amateur model night to Madeline's in Greenpoint on Wednesday, October 14, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and this edition carries a Halloween theme. Volunteer models pose in costume across two rounds, with a break for socializing in between, and a surprise model holds the final 20-minute pose to close the evening. All art levels are welcome, from regular sketchers to people picking up a pencil for the first time in years.
🎭 Costumes on Both Sides
The Halloween theme reaches past the models. Artists are encouraged to arrive in costume as well, and the best costume of the night wins a free November pass to the next session. Two posing rounds and one break give the evening a clear shape, and the break is the natural moment to talk with other artists. Coming alone works well here, with no partner needed and a fixed format that makes the next step easy to follow.
🎟️ Before You Go
Tickets on Eventbrite start at 12.51 dollars and are nonrefundable. One note covers the house rules, entry is 21 and over, each guest buys at least one drink, and photos are not allowed during the session, with nonalcoholic options at the bar and cash tips for the models appreciated.
