Hachidori Studio

Run by artist Lori-Michele Emerson, the downtown space functions as both an active working studio and an exhibition room. Emerson’s background includes restoring Japanese art for a major private collection, a discipline that informs her own work across wood-block printing, sculpting, and collage alongside painting. Her nature-inspired pieces—including work recognized with Marin County’s 2024 Bartolini Award—hang alongside work tables where she hosts private classes for children and adults and collaborative team-building sessions.
