H&J's Restaurant

Rooted in the area, the restaurant extends a tradition started in 1993 by the owners' parents at the Inn Kensington Restaurant. Twenty-five years later, the four siblings—alumni of El Cerrito High and Portola Middle School—opened this space to bring that same neighborhood presence to El Cerrito and Richmond. It is envisioned as an easygoing community stop, equally suited for gathering over a meal with friends and family or settling in with a warm cup of coffee and a favorite book.
