In Glenwood Park, Kevin Gillespie’s Gunshow trades traditional ordering for constant tableside interaction. A rotating roster of chefs presents original dishes while explaining each creation directly to diners, and bartenders follow suit with cocktails mixed tableside from a roving bar cart. With its open kitchen vibe, the meal plays out much like an energetic tasting menu rather than a conventional multi-course dinner. The name pays homage to Gillespie’s Georgia upbringing, nodding to the rare Sunday afternoons off his father spent taking him to gun shows.
