鬼怒川第一ホテル

First opened in 1956 as a branch of the Asaya Hotel, this 500-guest resort once featured large banquet halls and the famous Kinu no Hatcho baths before closing in November 2008. The south side of its lobby later served as the location for Yorushika's "Parade" music video, but much of the site's presence comes from small, lingering details.

A traditional welcome sign still hangs at the entrance as if operations ended recently, and the hotel's name remains on a nearby bus stop. Glimpsing inside through gaps in the walls reveals preserved interior elements, creating an atmosphere that can briefly make passersby wonder if someone still lives inside.
