Description

Set just off Interstate 635 in southwestern Garland, Grissom Park is appreciated by nearby residents as a pleasant, low-key neighborhood spot. Alongside its climbing nets, the play area features a freestanding slide and a team totter designed to foster exercise, physical development, and cognitive growth in young visitors. Pavement and turf divide the rest of the grounds: the half basketball court accommodates solo shooting practice and one-on-one matchups, while the open lawn leaves space for catch, flag football, or outdoor games.
