Greenville's Haunted Bar Crawl Starts at New Realm Brewing
A member of a local paranormal investigation team walks one to two miles of downtown Greenville after dark, EMF meter included, with the bar list set on the day.
This walk covers one to two miles of downtown Greenville on foot, after dark, starting on South Main. The operator describes it as haunted history braided together with accounts of paranormal activity.
The stops change from night to night. Two or three bars go on the route depending on the day and what has space, which makes the starting address the one thing worth writing down.

Booking confirms instantly, tickets are mobile, and the listing sells one per booking. The walk runs in English. Drinks are not covered by the fare.

🍺 The group forms up inside New Realm Brewing Company at 912 South Main Street. The meeting point is the downstairs bar: in through the main entrance, straight ahead, then down the stairs. Everyone meets there, and the listing offers no hotel pickup and no second boarding point.
One caution about the address. The operator's own site gives the Rose Crystal Tower sculpture at Falls Park as the meeting spot for its regular ghost walk, so searching the company name can land you at the wrong address. For this crawl the booking page says New Realm, and that is the one to save.
The operator suggests arriving early enough to order a drink and settle in before the walk starts. That is worth doing. Once the group moves off, the next stop is whichever bar the guide has lined up for that night.
Two or three bars, picked on the day

The operator says the stops vary by day, time and availability, so the booking page cannot name the bars and neither can this one. What holds steady is the shape of the night: one to two miles on foot, two or three bars, and a route that stays in downtown Greenville.
The two duration figures disagree slightly. The booking page fixes the slot at three hours, while the operator's own site says the crawl runs about two and a half to three. Plan the evening around three.
Dates are worth checking early. The operator files this night as the Spooky & Haunted Bar Crawl and treats it as seasonal: public departures in peak season, private bookings the rest of the year.
Who leads it, and who it is sold to
The booking page credits the walk to a member of Truth Searchers: Paranormal Investigators and leaves it at that. The operator's own site is more specific. Gabe Mathews founded both that investigation team and the tour company that sells this night, and the site describes him as a certified paranormal investigator with more than a decade of fieldwork. He is listed as lead guide, one other guide is on the roster, and the booking page does not say which of them takes a given night out. The tour business itself is young: he told a local interviewer his first public walk ran in October 2022.
An EMF meter is handed out at the start and is included in the booking. The fare is sold for ages 21 and up, and the listing carries no child or youth price. One booking takes up to sixteen travelers. Alcohol and gratuities both sit outside the ticket, so every bar tab is settled on the spot. Dogs are out as well: the operator's FAQ allows service dogs on its regular walking tour but bars them from the crawl.
Flat ground, stairs at the start
The listing rates the route for all physical fitness levels and flags both the tour and its transportation options as wheelchair accessible, and then the meeting instructions send everyone down a flight of stairs. The listing never reconciles the two. The operator's FAQ does: the standard route includes stairs, an alternate route removes all of them without skipping content, and the step-free version has to be requested from the guide in advance, not sorted out at the meeting point. The same answer warns that the terrain is rough in places and that the walk cuts through dark alleys.
A full refund requires cancelling at least 24 hours ahead; inside that window the listing returns nothing. Weather is the operator's own call and its FAQ draws the line plainly: steady rain or a thunderstorm cancels the night and refunds the tickets, while intermittent drizzle is not enough to stop it. Too few travelers can also end a departure, and booking stays open right up to the start time.
Bring shoes that handle a couple of miles of sidewalk, and a card for whatever you drink. Two travelers have rated this tour so far, averaging 3.5 stars, which is too thin a sample to lean on. What the night actually offers is easier to picture: a paranormal investigator, a meter that reacts, and two or three Greenville bars still serving once the stories run out.
