Greenpoint Library and Environmental Education Center

This active Brooklyn Public Library branch balances environmental education with practical neighbourhood resources. Visitors can borrow board games and tools from an on-site lending library, work across ample study spaces, or explore a sustainable rooftop demonstration garden. The space hosts hands-on sessions like the Eco Lab's Spin a Yarn workshop, where participants learn to spin natural fibers into handmade pieces. While the venue offers vibrant community programming and a well-used children's area, the bustling atmosphere often carries noticeable background noise.
