Greenbridge Greendrain
attraction
Mary Coss's public art turns stormwater drainage into sculpture, guiding rain through carved pipes and pebble runnels.
Description

Roof runoff enters through whimsical downspouts and a runnel lined with a decorative pebble mosaic that lets the stream meander toward a scupper, stone basin, and grate. Built to feed and shield the nearby lake and wetlands, the setup routes collected rainwater straight into the marshland, avoiding processing and eliminating contamination.
