Description

Acquired in 1922 and named after President Ulysses S. Grant, the 19.90-acre park served as the setting for many scenes in Beverly Cleary's children's books. Within the dedicated children's sculpture garden, Henry Huggins and Ramona Quimby are joined in bronze by Ribsy. Across the rest of the property, facilities include the synthetic turf Mark Cotton Field, sports courts, a playground, picnic areas, and an off-leash dog area.
