Description

Built in 1902 for Colorado Governor James Benton Grant and later home to the family behind Denver’s first airport, the estate spent decades hosting gatherings for the city's social circles. Ira Boyd Humphreys bequeathed the landmark to History Colorado in 1976. Beyond the grand reception areas, the interior unfolds into a formal dining room, parlor, library, and sunroom, while the surrounding grounds encompass flower gardens, Humphreys Park, and a neoclassical terrace admired for its architectural detail.
